Twists of Lust and Trust

On a mild summer day Anita stepped into my life. Actually she literally ran into me. At first I thought she was a mirage. She had a quick to smile face, making her instantly accessible. It was obvious that she was headstrong, not bound to conventions, or at least eager to bend the rules, which is why it seemed improbable to encounter someone like her in the austere halls of the Department for the Preservation of Cultural Relics.

About the story

This story takes off at a breathless pace and races to the last page, steered by protagonist Irene, who falls deeply in love with Anita – a very uninhibited girl. But who is Anita? A woman driven by pleasure, a fast-moving mother of two small boys, who doesn’t much pram-pushing, prefering to romp around more wildly than her kids, climb trees with them, and play soccer and ice hockey. But euphoria has a darker side: Soon Irene is drawn into a dangerous whirlwind of deception. The harder she falls for Anita, the less she trusts her. Where do the lies end and the truth begins?
